Leaking at base after 1 year

Love the look and design of this faucet. Unfortunately, it has begun to leak at the base after 9 months of use. Called Delta and they are sending replacement parts to try and fix the leaking. So, now I need a plumber to help change out the parts... Hope this works.

I like the functionality and feel of this faucet, but the spray head will eventually fail and you will not be able to get out of spray mode without a struggle.

Major design flows!

The product has two major design flows. 1. Does not allow to adjust precisely the temperature at maximum volume and not at all at lower volume. That’s because the range of the movement of the handle for temperature control is very narrow, an angle of about 50 degrees (25+25 degrees on each side, cold or hot). At lower volume this range is even less. Most faucets have a movement range of 90 degrees. 2. Once you manage to adjust the temperature to your needs, then turn it off and on again moments later, you cannot easily find the previous location for the temperature. So, you need to fiddle again in search for the same temperature. This is a big waste of time and opportunities to get burns and is caused by the design of the faucet which forces the handle to go into the center of the temperature range when turning it off. When using the kitchen faucet you often need to turn it off momentarily while doing other activities, then turn it on again. But the handle does not allow you to preserve the selected position.

Replaced my 12+ yr old faucet with the latest model just had to send them photo of old one and I received new one in 3 days parts only had to hire plumber to install but I’m sure if you are handy you can do it yourself!
