A: There's a neutral included (at least in mine) but if you don't have one in your circuit then you simply twist it up and don't need it!

A: Yes it does. Although, the settings doesn't have any measurement markings on it, so you have to keep on trying until you get it right.

Q: Is there a switch to make it always on/off? I only see one switch, I am not sure if it can do ON - OFF - AUTO. Unless there is a "middle point switch" it can't be seen from the picture.

A: Yes, there are three switch positions. Off - Auto - On. Auto is in the middle.

A: Yes if you select the non motion sensing option under the cover and you can change it back to sensing when you want by moving the switch under the cover.

A: Sorry, I don’t know but I don’t think so. I installed this switch in a walk-in closet so ambient light is not relevant.

Q: I want a motion sensor light for inside the garage, can this be a good one for this purpose? Does it come with a cable/wire connect to the electric plug or use battery?

A: It’s hard wired. It replaces a standard light switch. I was looking for options in my garage for a second light switch. We have 2 inside entrances to our garage but a wall light switch only on 1 of the doors. This means the back entrance has no switch and I have to walk through a dark garage to turn on the light. I either had to have an electrician add a switch for hundreds of dollars, or install a motion sensor. Motion sensors I looked at were pricey, usually starting at $100+ and would mount in the ceiling. I found this cheap switch and figured I would try it out. It works flawless! Both entrances, when I open the door the lights are on before my foot hits the floor. My back garage door is even on a sharp angle for the switch and approx 15 feet away and the switch still works. According to their own instructions, it shouldn’t work based on my layout, but it does! It also turns the lights on almost immediately when the main car garage door opens. I now also purchased one for my laundry room and would use for any space where you always need lights on when you’re in the room but automatically want to turn off when you leave the room.

Q: I want to put the switch 6 ft up on a wall to use as a motion control for a regular ceiling light and do not want kids to be able to reach the switch. I understand the 150 degree side to side range what is the vertical range?

A: You would have to check Leviton's website to try and find the specs for that question as it's designed to supplement a standard wall switch. I can say it's been far better than I expected as an automatic light for my garage and for the price I would highly recommend giving it a try. Alternatively Leviton does have a ceiling mount motion light but in this cases you may be getting into electrical work. Again, this switch is a super affordable option that works amazing.
