Decorative fence modified to make it work for me

The product is good, however I found the gap between the two decorative rounded pieces was far to large and animals could easily get through. I took it apart and moved each piece over one notch to reduce the large gap and now the decorative fence looks so much better, I ended up having to buy one more piece to finish the project since I shortened the original pieces.

Practical but difficult to install/flimsy

I’ve had these in my garden for a couple of years and purchased some replacements this year. I use them as a divider between my herb and vegetable garden. I like that they flexible and can thus be installed in a curb and that you can vary the length of your fence by using more or less segments. However, they are difficult to clip together, come apart easily and the plastic is flimsy / cracks easily. They work for me because I use them as a demarcation in an area they are not very visible but they are neither attractive nor a durable physical barrier

Q: Can you bend it around a tree or is is just for straight gardens?

A: I wouldn't recommend bending it around a tree as they look more heavy duty in the pics than they actually are and may snap. I have mine around a tree, but in a square. Short answer, really should only be used linear. Note, you will need to make holes in the ground with a screw driver or peg or something - you won't be able to push them right into the ground without breaking them.
