Great Spade Bit... Really
a year ago
I love this bit. It pulls itself in, so you don't have to push on it. In addition, it seems to stay sharp. It is so much better that the standard spade bits that seem to burn out after 2-3 uses. I will definitely be buying a full set. Worth the extra money.

Too much damage

Did not like the bit for what I needed to do. The auger was way too aggressive for my needs and did more damage than I wanted. A forstner bit was much better.

The DSB1007B DareDevil Bits have a Full cone Threaded tip so the bit will pull itself into the wood for fast effortless drilling. A Forstner bit would be a better bit if you are needing a specific depth.
