Great Design but Terrible Quality and longevity

This was a great faucet....while it worked. The sensor stopped working approx. a year after installing. changed batteries and it still won't work. Figuring out how to switch it to manual function was not easy as there is no information available. I am really disappointed with this product from Danze, and I would hesitate to purchase this brand again. Don't waste your money on this product.

Highly disappointed

Worked well while it lasted, but the sensor activation stopped working in less than a year. Changing batteries doesn't solve it (they are already on fresh batteries). Can't find a manual switch on the box to disable the sensor and just use as a normal faucet. Can't find a user manual online. Can't even find this model number online for any kind of support documentation to help figure out the problem. Can't find replacement parts by searching for this model number. Could have bought some random model off of Temu if I wanted this kind of poor product.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can I use the handle, alongside the sensor? Or can I only use one or the other? Do I have to remove the batteries to be able to use the regular handle?

A: I don't agree with the vendor's answer to this question. I just installed this faucet and it only works with the sensor (and with the faucet handle turned on). If you want to use just the handle, you have to turn a switch on the control module under the sink to 'disable' the sensor (keep the control module 'on')--only then can you operate the faucet with the handle only.

Q: Can you provide a PDF to the installation manual? I have this and it's loosen with time and I don't know how to tighten it up and stop it from wiggling. Tightening the set screw alone isn't fixing it.

Q: Does anyone else experience a super annoying noise coming from the control module of this tap? It sounds like a whining motor constantly changing in speed and frequency, and it only happens when the tap temperature control is in the middle of its range.

Q: Why isn't the spout retracting like in the video? We installed the faucet following the directions as written, but we have to pull hard to get the spout out and it doesn't retract at all. We have to pull it manually under the sink to retract it.
