Q: How do you empty the moisture collected? Do you pour it down the sink?
3 months agoA: I pour the water collected, down the drain or flush it in the toilet, no issue with either.

Q: What if I don't see any any liquid in the container after a period of time?
6 years agoA: If the product has not begun to drip liquid into the catch container, there is not enough moisture in the air at this time. - That can change, so give it time. If the chemical has hardened or has a glossy appearance, that is an indication that the product is absorbing moisture but not enough yet to drip into the bottom. If humidity is below about 50-60% you will not see much happen, however it is impossible for the product not to work if exposed to airborne moisture.

Q: Is this a desiccant? I need to keep the contents of a box perfectly dry, so I'm looking for some cheap desiccant.
10 years agoA: Although Damp Check Freshener is a form of desiccant, we advise AGAINST using it in a box. Damp Check is designed to be used in larger areas such as closets, rooms and basements where it can be visually monitored and emptied periodically of trapped liquid (moisture). A box could be subject to overturning and spilling the trapped liquid onto the contents of the box.
