Versatile waterproofing product!

I mainly use this to waterproof planks on our deck before top coating with paint. Works well wherever you want to prevent rot. And despite saying that it is not meant for long term UV exposure, I have used it to seal large cracks on our driveway. Three years later it has not cracked due to its excellent adhesion and elasticity. Great product!

Really thick stuff like pudding or plaster. Had to to a 20mm pile roller on my rough concrete. It has a strong smell to it that has lasted a week so far even with the windows open all day, closed at night. It "dries" enough to walk on after a few hours but can remain tacky up to 2 weeks, mine was for 5 days. It has stopped the dampness on the floor so far and no water infiltration.

  • A: Most definitely. I bought this to be used for my ground-level deck project. I placed the deck posts on concrete pavers and I painted the top of the rough concrete pavers with Elasto-Lock to prevent moisture penetration.

  • A: Good day. Elastolock should be used as a primer only. It is not meant to be a top coat and you should not mix anything into it. It is not UV resistant and needs to be covered with a water based opaque product.
