It is a highly versatile and functional roll-on damp-proof rubber membrane that imparts exceptional waterproofing, flexibility and weathering advantages to many existing surfaces. ElastoLock is an easy-to-use, single component coating that locks firmly onto many surfaces. Easily apply it to prevent water penetration, rot or mould. Use it on concrete, wood, plastic, metal and other exterior surfaces you want to protect.

I'm hopeful it works

Really thick stuff like pudding or plaster. Had to to a 20mm pile roller on my rough concrete. It has a strong smell to it that has lasted a week so far even with the windows open all day, closed at night. It "dries" enough to walk on after a few hours but can remain tacky up to 2 weeks, mine was for 5 days. It has stopped the dampness on the floor so far and no water infiltration.

We applied to our 3/4" plywood deck 12x8. The original product lasted 10 years but is no longer available. This product was a surprise and was applied easily with roller and brush. Dried in 4 hours, but we waited 24 hours. Put bbq and table/,chairs on and we're back to normal. Winter will tell. Works great

I put down on my front deck to see if it worked . I have been a painter for 35 years now and this stuff is the best for out door decks as a primer . Then put on Ondeck coating will last a long time . Made by the same Daich coatings

Q: Is this good for basement floor with a rough surface.

A: Most definitely. I bought this to be used for my ground-level deck project. I placed the deck posts on concrete pavers and I painted the top of the rough concrete pavers with Elasto-Lock to prevent moisture penetration.

A: Good day. Elastolock should be used as a primer only. It is not meant to be a top coat and you should not mix anything into it. It is not UV resistant and needs to be covered with a water based opaque product.
