      Works fine

It gets lots of use. I volunteer at Bikes for Kids and luggeded it back and forth. Since it does not fold up, I left the base at home and made a second base with a 3 foot piece of 3/4" black iron pipe and a 2' x 2' piece of plywood. Still works fine after perhaps 50 uses in one season. Everything from a small kids bike to my tandem. It only took me 20 or 30 uses to discover the threaded bolt that is used to adjust the height is actually a spring loaded pin. Duh! I refuse to buy much at Cdn Tire at full price, so I watched for a sale. No luck. It showed up under the Christmas Tree.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

decent bike stand, for the price

After reading some of the other posts for this stand, I was very hesitant to purchase it, but with not a lot of time to search around or cash at hand, I thought it can't be that bad as reviewed. After purchasing a sealed box (to ensure all contents were inside and undamaged), I brought the stand home and within 15 minutes had a bike hanging. With 6 bicycles in the household, I needed a stand to hold various frame styles and shapes. Although it is not the most sturdy and rugged on the market, it easily held all the bikes and never let me down. The locking mechanism worked well to hold in 360° radius, but found the parts tray a bit small to hold any amount of tools or weight. Would easily recommend this to anyone. Just be sure to buy a sealed box.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this workstand as it looks very durable, but the first i bought had a defective lock lever to hold horizontally or vertical so i returned it change for a new one. 2 days later I assembled the newly exchange stand, guess what? another defective product, everything was fine until i put in the clamp together and there is no thread for the bolt to go through to hold the bike. I will be returning this unreliable product CYCLETECH for the second time tomorrow and never get en exchange. I also noticed the packaging, the box was only tape as if they use there bare feet to tape it - unprofessionally package. So it looks like all of them are repacked. DONT BUY IT!

No, I do not recommend this product.
