I bought this as a gift doe my mother and when I opened it there were missing pieces. Clearly someone had returned this item and had left out some parts. Luckily we had the parts but I was very disappointed

The umbrella broke in the first couple of times of using. The wind took it and it snapped a rod and the tilt option. I tried to fix it and I was not successful.

Same umbrella, cheaper quality ten years later

I bought this to replace a previous patio umbrella that was ten years old and had torn at the top. It was the exact same brand and model but the new one has lower quality (thinner) material and the metal on the stand itself is not as good. Price stays the same but to increase profits, quality is worse. I hate the enshitification of life that is happening under end state capitalism.

I have bought two of these in the past; good quality and have lasted many years. This one feels like it would break mid season. The crank just didnt feel solid. Returned it.

  • A: Yes you can buy a stand separately and as for which one that would be something you like decoratively just for safety reasons due to wind I suggest a relatively heavy one or one that is easy to secure to the surface it is on. Hopefully this answer helps
