Ghost nets are responsible for harming marine life through entanglement and the disturbance of reef environments. As of 2021, through the manufacturing of the Oceaware Collection, approximately 17,000 kgs of fishing nets have been removed from the East China Sea. Oceanware is crafted from recycled resins captured from discarded fishing nets. Utilizes existing waste from the ocean, reduces the need for virgin plastic and prevents harmful plastic pollution from breaking down in the world's oceans. Oceanware is an eco-friendly kitchen tool line. The handles capture the essence of the seashore with deep blue and aqua tones.

Don't Buy Cuisinart Oceanware Set.

Though the set looks great, the handles on the four pieces come apart. I have always liked the Cuisinart brand as their products are functional and look great. The Solid Turner, Slotted Turner, Slotted Spoon, and Solid Spoon handles of the Cuisinart Oceanware set comes apart. Please know that we have never placed them in the dishwasher and they are hand washed and hand dried and this has still occurred.

I bought this because I love the colour, and it goes with my existing kitchen stuff. This box set is great, because of the value for the price. If I would have bought the pieces individually, it would have cost more money. I also love that it's made from recycled plastic.
