Great BBQ!

Bought this BBQ for my father-in-laws house in the country. Quality product, very well put together. It was much easier to put together than I expected. We had it together in a couple of hours and the instructions were very well done. Lights easily and cooks like a dream. Quite good cooking area for the size. Infrared side burner is great too. Recommended, especially at the current sale price.

Assembly will take a few hours

Nice size for our purposes. I like the U-shaped burners (3) seem to be hotter than the stick-like burners in the cheaper BBQs. It took about 2 and a half hours to put it together. All the parts were there. The assembly manual could be improved - its just sketches showing how the parts go together - read it carefully. Be careful not to loose any of the screws , bolts or washers since they are an exact count --no spares.

Not the quality I would expect from Cuisinart!

I purchased this BBQ 3.5 years ago. The basket at the back of the BBQ completely rusted out - the ledge for the heat plates disintegrated - leaving the plates nothing to rest on. When I called support they advised me this was normal wear and tear and charged me for heat shields that will prolong the life of the BBQ. This BBQ was frequently cleaned and always covered!
Overall not a great purchase, and not great value for the money spent.

Awesome BBQ

I bought this BBQ when it came on sale at about 40% off. This was in April of 2015. Assembly was a breeze and it did not require two or more people to put it together as the instructions indicated in a step. I have had nothing go wrong with the BBQ and it has made many a meal in the 6 months that I have had it.

Took about 2 1/2 hrs. to put it together, You will need at least 2 people. Turned out to be a great BBQ, cooked everything on a even heat, no flair ups. I would say its one of the best I have had.

Q: Need help with assembly instruction 10.d The manual states - "Insert all Electrode wires (CG, DE, BH) into the Electronic Ignition Assembly (CF1), as shown in figure E." The electrodes are not marked as CG, DE, BH. How do I know which electrode will go in which slot? Kindly advise.

A: I had the same problem. Best guess is that it doesn't matter, the ignition sends the spark to all the wires simultaneously. However, if it makes you feel better, the 3 black wires are probably CG and the white ones are DE and BH.

Q: is this the same barbecue that the reviews say is so hard to put together also mentioned some poor welds

A: I bought a 710 and if you're not mechanically inclined, you're going to stuff it back in the box and return it in frustration. I had to chase a lot of the threads to get the little screws in.

Q: Replacement Parts? I have the 810 propane model and need new burners, plates and grills. They did not last long and already need replacing. It does not appear that Canadian Tire carries these for this model G53503 (85-3110). Can they be ordered?
