Uneven cooking

Easy to assemble and looking good but it's the most uneven grill I have ever used. On the same burner, it goes from burnt in the back to almost raw in the front. All three burners are doing the same.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The instructions for assembly were easy to follow. All parts wants together well. The barbecue fired up as it should. Simple barbecue for your casual home cook.

I assembled the BBQ following the directions. When it comes to the ignition setup, the directions didn't indicate that the wiring would be buried above the heat guard plate behind the propane control dials. Had to use a mirror and partially disassemble the heat guard to fish the wires out. After assembling the remaining pieces the BBQ works with the exception of the electric ignition. This makes using my 10 year old BBQ worth it still; even though it's corroding, it is more convenient to use.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How complicated is it to assemble?

A: It comes with pictures and easy to read assembly. I would recommend a second person because it can be heavy plus it makes the assembly quicker. All you need is a screw driver. All the nuts and bolts are in another package which is labelled for your convinces

Q: Do you have to use use side burner? I don't really care for the additional side burner on the right side... do I have to install it or can I just use the bbq with the left side installed?

Q: Can the propane version of this barbecue be converted to a natural gas version ( aware a natural gas version is available ). Just had a natural gas line installed and have had this barbecue for 2 years now

A: Can't see any conversion kit, but there is a natural gas version of this BBQ (http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/cuisinart-gourmet-600b-propane-bbq-0853095p.html), so I guess it might be possible to changes part and convert it yourself.

Q: The temperature gauge does not move beyond 300C at Max. I am not sure if it was because I used only one burner (middle). The heat at Max was not that hot.

A: Thank you for your question. If you are experiencing low burner flames or your burners are not getting hot enough you may have activated the flow limiting feature in your regulator. You will need to reset the regulator flow limiting feature. If one or more control knobs were left on when your propane tank was opened, your regulators safety feature would have activated. This safety feature will limit the flow of gas, essentially inhibiting your ability to get the BBQ over 300F. To reset the Flow Limiting Feature, follow the steps on Page 5 of your BBQs Safety and Care Manual. For your convenience here is a link. http://www.cuisinartbbqs.com/en/manuals/safety_care_manual_E.pdf To avoid this in the future, always follow proper lighting procedure. All knobs must be off before opening your propane tank. Additionally, perform leak tests for all your regulator hose connections to make sure that your connections are all positive.
