    Very good BBQ

Bought this on sale in April. Heats up quickly, cooks evenly. So far, very happy with this product. The only flaw (which I knew before I bought it) is that you can only access the tank from the back so if it's against a wall or fence, you have to move it out to get to the tank.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Very Happy

We've owned ours for almost a year now and are quite happy with it. It heats up very quickly, has great grilling space and we love the less common cube-shaped dome. Heat is distributed pretty evenly across the grill (possibly because of the cube-shaped dome). Assembling it seemed overwhelming at first, but it ended up not being too bad (about 2hrs). We have a smaller backyard which it also fits in very nicely. We also got it for half-price at the time, so really it'd have to be pretty terrible to not be worth what we paid. The regular price tag does seem a bit steep, even for something that works very well. It could use an extra feature or two at that price, but honestly I don't see the point in much else when it comes to BBQs. If it consistently works, and works well (which this does), it's worth a little extra.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great Grill

We bought this BBQ a few weeks ago and it works great. It's not a huge BBQ and doesn't seem to work well for smoking because there is too much air escape. But functionally it's awesome. The instructions were just okay. There were certainly steps in the wrong order. A word of advice, they want you to pull the wires out from behind each of the dials at the end... do it at the beginning before you put the assembled grill on top of the base. That was super awkward. The only other awkward thing is there is no access to the tank from the front or either of the sides. So each time you turn on the BBQ you have to move it completely (4 wheels on the base) to reach in behind to open the valve on the tank. Design flaw in my mind. All that being said, Definitely a nice grill. I don't regret purchasing it. We got it on sale $250 and think its worth waiting for the sale.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: what is the arrangement for grease drainage from the firebox?

    1 Answer
    • A: Hello and thank you for your question. The Cuisinart 600 barbecue has a grease tray that funnels grease into a grease cup that can be removed from the back of the barbecue. Both are accessible from the back for easy cleaning.

Q: grill Is the grill stainless steel? or the usual cheap kind?

    Anonymous12 years ago
    1 Answer
    • A: Thank you for your question. No, Cuisinart Gourmet BBQs do not include stainless steel cooking grates. Porcelain cast iron cooking grates are the grate of choice. Once seasoned, these grates will offer all of the great benefits of cast iron, including; the best heat retention, more stable cooking temperatures, a non stick surface, and the ability to season and re-season, ensuring a long life and great performance.

Q: What size cover for the Cuisinart 600S BBQ? Hi. I purchased the Cuisinart 600S BBQ. I'm unsure what size cover I need to get. I notice from another post that the BBQ size is: 50.2" x 24.6" x 47.1" The covers are: Medium 52 x 23 x 45" Large 62 x 24 x 46"

    1 Answer
    • A: Cuisinart cover part number 85-3247 is the cover you require. The dimensions are as you have indicated above; 52 x 23 x 45" (132 x 58 x 114 cm). The cover will need to be slightly bigger than the unit to ensure that it is easy to take on and off without ripping. Hope this helps.
