Fantastic kitchen helper

This processor is great. Reduces the time it takes to do what ever you need it to do. It’s fast, efficient, and easy to clean. Once you have used it, you’ll be asking yourself, why didn’t I get one sooner.

Yes, I recommend this product.

The best of all Cuisinart Food Processors

I have had a number of Cusinart's over the years, from the time they were a new innovation. I have one in another home, as well. I have also used several of the mini choppers, which are great. Of all the Cusinart food processors I have owned, this is by far, my favorite. It's easy to use, I use both the small and larger bowl for processing, it's easy to clean in the dishwasher. It comes with safety blade protectors except for the flat blades, which I used for the first time today. Also, very easy to use. I just ordered the flat blade protector. This is a first-rate product that I highly recommend. It is worth every penny.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Does Cuisinart Elite 12 cup Collection Food Processor allow to chop vegetables into large pieces? I wonder if this appliance can chop lettuce/carrots/beets/potatoes/etc into larger pieces (1-3 cm in size/length and larger), rather than just puree the vegetables?

1 Answer
  • A: As per the manual: Chopping (using the Chopping Blade) • For raw ingredients: peel, core and/or remove seeds and pits. Food should be cut into even, ½ to 1-inch (1.3-2.5 cm) pieces. Foods cut into same size pieces produce the most even results. • Pulse food in 1-second increments to chop. For the finest chop, either hold the pulse down or press on to run the machine continuously. Watch ingredients closely to achieve desired consistency and scrape the work bowl as necessary.
