    Waited to write a review after I got some use out of this. On my 2nd year now and I use this almost 3 times a week during the spring to early fall seasons. Never had an issue with the ceramic tiles. You just need to be careful with them like you would with anything if you want them to last. I clean the bbq surface after every use and keep it under a cover. Only issue I have is the cast iron sear station grate. If you don't keep seasoning/oiling it; it will rust. I sometimes neglect to do it so I wish it was made of stainless. Other then that this BBQ has been a solid performer and will last years to come. Buy and enjoy this beauty!

    J'ai acheté ce BBQ il y a 3 mois et c'est un vrai cauchemar. Pour le prix, il n'en vaut vraiment pas la peine. Le système de céramique est la pire invention au monde. Les résidus de nourriture s'accumulent constamment et prennent en feu. Entretien constant! De plus, il semblerait selon d'autres critiques que les céramiques qui coûte très chères sont à changer régulièrement. Le pire est à venir. Et le comble dans tout cela, est que la cuisson n'est pas meilleur qu'un banal BBQ au 1/3 du prix. Franchement très déçu de Cuisinart!

    CERAMIC STONE BBQ A PIECE OF CRAP

    Canadian Tire should stop selling all BBQ from Cuisinart. The Ceramic stones are garbage and don't last. Just like everyone else says, gone in less than a year. They turn to dust and replacing is very expensive. will cost you hundreds of dollars to replace from cuisinart. Had to replace the grills too as they rusted out. zero warranty. BEWARE AND DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE

    Well worth the money

    I replaced my old natural gas BBQ with this one two years ago and have been very happy with the results. I picked this one after researching a number of BBQs including the Napolean line but this one had the ceramic technology which made it stand apart. Build quality is solid just like the Napolean and the ceramic bricks do provide a very consistent cooking results. I have yet to burn meat at the edges due to flames shooting up through the grill like my old one did. Only maintenance I have had to do is turn the bricks upside down to burn off the residue at the end of each summer. Once burned off they are like new again. The ceramic is durable but if you dropped one I could see how they would break. No different than dropping a glass on the floor and expecting it to not break. Other thing to note is that if all burners are left on full this puppy will get up to over 600 degrees so moderation when using the dials is important. Overall I am glad I made the purchase and would recommend to friends.
