Burr Grinder with Multiple Grind Settings

Had the unit for over 10 years, and it's great. Consistent grind, great adjustments, everything. After 10 years, the motor seems to have burned out, but I used it often and I'm not mad, getting ready to purchase another. to the folks who burned their motors right away, that's not the product's defect, it's you overloading the output cup, backing up onto the motor and burning the motor. If you jam the motor, it will burn up and stop working. Don't blame Cuisinart.

Best we have ever purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a week or so ago and used it for the first time about an hour ago. One word for this grinder: exceptional! Instructions were very simple to follow. I was amazed at the ease of grinding as the unit did everything. I selected our brew preference (medium) for a drip coffee maker (Cuisinart), and it was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Ok, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does a good job of grinding however, the motor cuts out often. I assume due to over-current. I have to wait before resuming use. The collection vessel collects fine coffee dust. Must be washed out with water. Other than that, it's a keeper. Let's see how long the motor lasts...

To help maintain performance, we recommend cleaning the burrs and grind chamber regularly, avoiding overfilling the hopper, and allowing the unit to cool if it has been used for an extended period. Fine coffee particles can accumulate in the grounds container over time, so periodic cleaning is recommended to help keep the unit operating at its best.
