Best squirrel deterrent I ever owned...shoots bullets at a rate that is quite surprising!

you sacrifice accuracy for rate of fire with this gun. If youre looking for a gun that just sprays beads in a general direction, then this is a good gun for you. I prefer a gun that has more accuracy though. I also found the battery wont charge after awhile.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Fairly poor.

My first ever airsoft gun. Here is the gist: CONS: The muzzle velocity is mediocre. It barely makes a sizeable dent in a tetrapack from point blank. The top feed through the scope is astoundingly inconsistent. Every second or third hit of the action actually results in a pellet getting fired. The scope is garbage. I mean, at least give me a reticule, not just a block of semi-translucent plastic. The inside of the black plastic is shiny, so you can be pointing the wrong direction entirely and still see your target through the scope. Reloading is a pain, although you rarely need to. So ridiculously inaccurate. Only possibly useful for close-quarters. and even then, the inconsistency on the firing makes that a poor plan. PROS: The gun, despite being made of clear plastic, has a very high quality feel to it. The stock is a good size and adjusts easily. The trigger feels good. END RESULT: A good try, but a poor result. I recommend that you do not buy this. I will be modifying mine and possible getting a new scope-mag-thingy entirely.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: would u get this gun or the famas tactical spring air rifle here is a link to the famas http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/5/SportsRec/SoftAir/SoftAirguns/PRD~0755258P/Famas+Tactical+Spring+Air+Rifle.jsp?locale=en

    • A: Well, it depends, I myself would get the FAMAS, seeing as it is at 370 - 375 FPS. And the R73 fires at about 225. R73 is battery powered, the FAMAS is spring powered. I guess it depends on you'r personal needs.
