Better than other bags

They're thick. They stretch a bit before puncturing or tearing. I like that they don't have edges meant for tying, for my purposes, but I think most people would prefer the long flaps at the tops meant for tying.

Another use for Contractor Bags.

I am not a contractor. I needed the bags to put a variety of items out for pickup by Diabetes Canada. The bags were perfect. They are tough and will hold bulky objects. Diabetes Canada is fussy and will not pick up items that are not properly packaged. These Contractor Bags did the job.

Q: I have a 2014 VW jetta- would these bags be good to store my winter tires in??

A: I have a Mazda 3S. The size of my snow tires are 205/55R16. One tire fits comfortably with room to spare in a contractor bag.
