A: Hi Alicia, Great question! Our Concrobium Mold Control is effective at killing mold on a bedroom window. Once the solution has eliminated the mold, you will need to take cosmetic steps to remove any surface mold staining. Once the surface has been sufficiently cleaned, reapply Concrobium Mold Control to prevent future mold growth.

A: Pretty much. I used it on an old tent trailer, and it took most of the mold off. You could still see some stains on parts, but most of it was removed.

A: Product appears to coat surface drying out the area. However, if you have mold then why do you care about the paint ? You should sand it down, remove pieces will mold and treat porous areas (wood, etc.) with this product around where the mold growth occurred. You may be able to wipe this product off a semi-gloss surface, but once it dries its fairly strong. You can clean it out. Your question is a catch 22, who cares about the paint if you have visible mold. The paint should be completely removed. If you can see the mold, then that means its much more serious than you think. You must dry, treat, discard and replace the infected areas. Then you must keep your humidity level below 50 %. Proper Air-Flow, Really Clean !! Wash, Clean and Organize everything. No such thing as a half job with Mold problems. If you have any smell, then you have a problem.

A: Hi Loghome1, We do not recommend mixing in any stains, tints, paints, etc. with our Concrobium Mold Control as it is ready-to-use and should not be diluted.

A: Hi sjm99, While our Concrobium Mold Control can be used on the inside of your toilet bowl; Keep in mind, Concrobium Mold Control needs certain parameters to be effective. Concrobium Mold Control needs to come into direct contact with the mold/mildew, it needs to be applied to a dry surface (excessive moisture or water on the surface can dilute the product and impact its efficacy), and Concrobium Mold Control needs to dry onto the surface. You could try it, but since it’s an area that remains wet there’s no guarantee of effectiveness. We hope this new information is helpful.

A: No idea but it should be ok I have only used on painted wooden vertical surfaces in a boathouse - depending on the severity ofcthe mold may need an extra treatment

A: Hi, Thank you for your question and interest in Concrobium products. Concrobium Mold Control is a DIN-registered fungistat which eliminates and prevents mold without any harmful chemicals. It is safe to use on a variety of surfaces including your ceiling. With any cleaning solution you should always test on an inconspicuous area first. When Concrobium Mold Control dries on the moldy surface it encapsulates and crushes the cells right down to the root structure of the mold spores. This action is not visible, but you can be assured that it is working. While you may be used to using bleach or bleach-based products that whiten the mold stain, this product contains no bleaches or whiteners so it may require some mechanical action to remove the stain. Remember that once the cleaning step is complete it’s important to leave a layer of Concrobium Mold Control on the surface to provide mold resistance. Keep in mind that it is necessary for a periodic reapplication of Concrobium Mold Control on surfaces that are exposed to water or humidity. We hope this answers your question.
