Q: Will this adhere and stay on vertical plywood surface?

A: The adhesive liner will not work on any type of embossed or perforated raw wood - it will on adhere to a smooth surface.

Q: Can this be used on Kitchen cabinets, counter-top or floor tiles?

A: Although I wouldn't use this on top of kitchen counters or tiles, I have used it on the outside of old kitchen cupboards in a rental suite (with the landlord's permission). The 30 + year old cupboard doors, drawer fronts, etc. were cheaply made of press-board and covered with a dark brown stick-on vinyl. As I didn't want to pay a fortune for the special paint to adhere to this type of surface, I used rolls of white vinyl adhesive on the doors, drawer fronts, etc. and turned an ugly, dark brown kitchen into a beautiful, light, white one. I remained there for 3 years and the cupboards continued to look as good as new when I left.

Sticks well, is easy to cut and work with. It can make almost any surface look like a wood surface. Specifically, it can be used to make faux wooden panels for your car to make it look like a long lost cousin of the Christmas Vacation car. Best idea ever.
