Q: I lost the instructions to do the testing.. any chance I could get them so I can do the testing?

A: Basicly, 1)fill water to the line exactly. 2) Add 4 drops of the respective solution and place cap back on. 3) Invert the test tube with mixed water a few times. 4) You'll be able to compare the colour to the markings right away, or after 10 seconds for Free Chlorine reading, or 5 minutes for Combined Chlorine reading. Bromine- ideal range for pools is 2.2 to 3.4, and for spas the ideal range is 3.4 to 4.5. As per the instructions.

A: Yes, it can be used with a salt water pool, the salt water is converted to chlorine which is still what is used to sanitize your pool.

Q: Is this for testing hot tubs as well? If so, is it recommended for this use or is there something else that is more accurate?

A: Hi ES72, It can be used in your hot tub as well. The OTO tester will show you the Chlorine/Bromine levels depending on the chemical treatment you use and the Phenol Red will show you the quality of your water (pH) and if you need to another treatment if its out of balance. Regards,

Q: Does the kit have a certain range in which the pH levels can be measured? Can it measure levels in the full range of 0-14?
