The plastic backing piece failed

I purchased this product in 2022 and was quite happy with the product until the plastic backing suddenly failed (snapped in half exactly as pictured by a number of other reviews here while I was in the other room). It's a shame that 3M didn't opt to make the piece just a little stouter. Without that essential backing piece this nice hook is now useless to me.

Unclear instructions and plastic broke.

Not well-designed. The back of the hook sticks out too far for the adhesive to stick, the adhesive itself isn't even that strong, and when I finally managed to stick it to the wall, the plastic broke when following the instructions. A waste of $15.

I had the same issue as others. The plastic back broke on two hooks that were holding a towel weighing 1.2 lbs. Replacement plastic backs should be included with the product since this seems to be an ongoing issue.

A little different than most command hooks

Bought this as a replacement for one that broke after 3 years. The plastic clip that attaches the metal hook to the adhesive is the weak point in this hook. It is fairly fragile in will break when installing or removing the hook for cleaning if you aren't careful.

Product is not worth buying

No good. As soon as I remove and try to fix, It came off. Also the adhesive was no more usable after removed it. It is not even sticking to itself...
