Poll too short!!

tent is nice and big and set up was quick and easy, however either the rain fly is too long or poll to keep it up by door is too short!
Tried to exchange however no stock available and they wouldn't give me store credit.
thought it was a set up issue but we took it down and put it back up three times and tried everything and the poll is just too short to fit into rain fly.
very upsetting to now be stuck with a tent i cant use :(

nouveau modèle très décevant !

Il y a 5 ans j'ai acheté ce modèle (bleu) que j'ai adoré. Je l'ai beaucoup utilisé et c'était très bien. L'an passé j'ai acheté le nouveau modèle (rouge) et après 2 semaines d'utilisation le zip a complètement brisé, pas d'imperméabilité donc pas la même qualité. Ne pas se fier aux anciennes cotes car pas la même qualité avec le nouveau modèle.

Nice size wrong poles designed for it

Bought July 31st, set up in backyard. The poles don't hold the weight of the tent, there's no electrical cord opening either, there are no windows, it's hard to zip up the door otherwise the size is great. It's not built like the older Sundome's which are built very well.

Very poor design

Set up was easy however that's the only positive point. On first use, shortly after set up, rain began. The weight of the wet material combined with moderate wind caused the concave shape of the poles to become convex. Add to this the design of the front of the rain fly increases the pressure on the front poles causing further cave in and flooding the front of the tent despite the claim "Guaranteed to keep you dry". Pole strength is not adequate for size of the tent. This is a cheap product that did not stand up to typical weather.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not good in rain

We have taken this out only once so far, but it was lightly raining. The awning is absolutely useless, it does not cover the zipper opening so as soon as you open the zipper, rain goes in the tent AND the awning dumps extra rain on it. We ended up with a sizable puddle at the entrance.
The bottom tub is hard to stake out and tends to just fold in making the interior space much smaller than it should.
The poles are weak, making it hard to set up and although we didn't experience winds, I would believe the other reviews on that one.
If you are looking for a sunny day, relatively small for whats claimed space, preferably only setting up on grass, tent... it could work?
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that it is not necessary to apply any water-proofing agent to your Coleman tent with WeatherTec. It is recommended that, with any tent, you set up your tent and mist lightly with water. This prepping will allow the fabric to swell, especially at the seams where there is stitching, to ensure waterproofing. The warranty is not void if the consumer uses water-proofing agents on a Coleman tent. However, it is important that one read the instructions on how to apply the waterproofing thoroughly to prevent any contamination of the tent fabric.
