Best summer purchase for backyard entertainment

The kids use this pool daily for hours at a time. We are able to watch them and still do things around the yard/house. Some days they are in it for 8-10hrs on the really hot days. Long enough for the kids to do laps and become better swimmers, even the adults enjoy a swim too. Was easy to set up and had it filled in under 4hrs.

Q: How do you drain this pool when it is hooked up to the garden hose? Does it use the pump or is it by gravity?

A: Thank you for your interest in the Coleman Rectangular Frame Pool. It is strongly recommended to disassemble the pool for the winter. The above ground pools may collapse under the weight of ice and snow, which would greatly damage the PVC pool walls. We recommend disassembling the pool when temperatures fall below 8ºC / 45ºF.

Q: How do you change the filter? I lost the Instruction book and every time I try to open the top of the pump/filter water comes out as there doesn't seem to be a way to shut the hoses for water coming out of the pool, only going back in? First time pool!!

Q: Can I put this on my existing grass yard? Or do I have to make a special base?

A: Thank you for your interest in our Coleman Rectangular Frame Pool. The selected location has to be capable of uniformly supporting the weight for the entire time the pool is installed, the location must be flat and must be cleared of all objects and debris including stones and twigs. Grass or other vegetation under the pool will die and may cause odors and slime to develop, therefore we recommend removing all grass from the selected pool location.Avoid areas prone to aggressive plant and weed species that may grow through the ground cloth or liner. The selected location should be firm enough to withstand the pressure of the water; Mud, sand, soft / loose soil or tar are not suitable.
