it basically has four umbrella legs that need to be extended, and they snap back fast on take down, have to watch your fingers. Issue: requires two people to set up I didn't realise this and bought it for trips to the beach with my baby which it does not work for; I tried to put it up solo and was unable to do it, I could get three legs with some struggles but after than it kept swinging around and I couldn't get the fourth

Perfect for a baby

We bought this in order to keep our baby out of the sun. We have used it a couple of times now, and it has protected our little one from being burned... Only complaint: a little difficult to put up under the hot sun, and windy conditions of an ocean beach

Q: Does it offer protection from rain or would the rain eventually permeate the ceiliing?

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that our shelters are only rated as a sun shelter. They are not waterproof and do not provide any protection from rain. To use this as a rain shelter may result in damage to the UV protection and may cause the shelter to dry rot.

Q: Is. This an easy up? Or do the poles have to be taken out of tent when taking down?
