Durable and makes delicious coffee

This is a great percolator and a must for a coffee drinker. When I go camping, this is the first thing I use in the morning and the last thing I use at night. It is wonderful for those cold mornings. It has held up well through the four years I have owned it. It is durable and cleans easily. It’s the first thing I unpack when getting to my campsite. The coffee tastes delicious. I do recommend this.

Best percolator ever

This is the best percolator ever. Coffee tastes so good. It is a durable percolator. Is to wash and easy to use. You can take this coffee pot any where. Heat distribution is even. It's one of the coffee pots you should have on hand. I highly recommend it.

This percolator is a good option for making coffee while camping. It’s easy to use and to clean. It takes a while to finish brewing the coffee but the coffee comes out good.

Great for camping or when the power goes out

I bought this last June specifically to use when camping. I live in Florida & when 2 hurricanes hit last September, we were without power for 4 days. I used this to make coffee for the family & neighbors to give some sort of comfort while we were cleaning up hurricane damage & waiting for the power to be restored. It can be used on a propane stove, over a campfire, or coals. I recommend having this in an emergency kit as well as part of your camping gear.

So in general, this kettle is fine. It boils water, makes decent camp coffee, works well on a camp grill or over the fire. However, what the heck were they thinking when they designed that tiny little nub lid handle?! It is impossible to take off the pot when it's hot because the lid will feel like molten lava. So you try to get it off with an oven mitt, but that stupid knob is so small, it's impossible to grab! After a few uses the coating starts to crack and peel off into your coffee. Badly engineered by someone who spends most of his life gaming in the basement instead of testing equipment outdoors in the real world.
