Didn't hold up

I bought this but was unable to actually inflate anything a dude out of box. Returned it to store for a refund.

This has worked well for us for blowing up our air mattress. It's a tad noisy as you can expect, but it gets the job done.

Batteries keep coming loose

On my first use, the batteries kept coming out of contact with the machine so it wouldn't work until after a hefty shake (and not always then either). I couldn't hold it at a straight angle without the batteries coming loose - had to hold it facing up (tricky feat with an inflatable bed the size of a room). The nozzles were a good fit at least. Have to return.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Just went camping this past weekend and the motor of our air mattress that came with bed died or the power wasn't strong enough. This was portable no worries about using outside power as it's battery operated and having a great night sleep was amazing

Red Hot Pump!

I bought both the coleman rechargeable (only) and this pump to compare them. Upon extensive independent market research (family & friends) this little beauty won everyone over on looks. It wasn't completely even as far as power goes as I used the 4 D batteries for this one and the other pump was soley a built in rechargable. The rechargable won out in the blind power test but was also was much louder. This one sounded more like a popcorn maker. In the end I returned the other coleman pump as this one was far cuter and in this life looks matter. Kidding (sort of# I actually bought the rechargable battery pack for this one #also available at CT) so I have power options it came with an in car charger and an ac/dc charger PLUS I can still use batteries. So not only is it attractive it is far more versatile than the other coleman pump which only works when charged. Apparently the rechargeable battery also works in other CPX 6 compatible products so I can use it for other coleman items as well! WIN-WIN!

Q: what is the product number for the recharge pack? nowhere on the box is there any info on how to get the charger pack.

A: CTC no longer carries the charger unit as we only carry the pump, and not the entire CPX system. If stores have inventory, it would be under following part number; 76-1493. Please contact your local Canadian Tire store to inquire.
