    Good for last minute pickup

I have used this grill several times over the course of camping for about 20 years. it works well if you setup your fire pit properly, the large spaced grill side is good to put kettle on, the small side is good to cook over, have used cast iron pans on tor or food wrapped in foil. The grill probably last heavy use over one season or over a couple seasons, unless you really take care of it.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    A poorly designed campfire grill

We've used this grill for a couple of years worth of camping, and are now replacing it with something better. I suggest not buying it. Pros: Lightweight Cons: Legs are flimsy. Fatal Flaw: Half the grill has huge spaces between the bars, so you can't actually cook food on one half of it without losing your food into the fire.

No, I do not recommend this product.

this is so easy to use/pack, that it would seem a no brainer. i have had it for at least 3 yrs and use it for 6 camping trips a season. i have only used it for actual cooking, so can't comment on how a big heavy pot filled with water will be able to sustain its weight (and that's why i have a camp stove anyway), but for the usual campfire meals: hotdogs, hamburgers, steaks, veggies etc, it has been great! i have also purchased a small wire grill brush that i use to scrape it clean after each use. of course the grill is mostly blackened now, but still holds up after all this use and it's long enough to fit across most campsite fire pits, i just let the legs dangle down. not an issue. love this grill, and definately recommend!!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

C'est une bonne grille qui résiste facilement à la chaleur du feu. Elle peut supporter facilement 2 casseroles. Cependant, il est difficile de la mettre à niveau, car ses pieds sont très étroits.

Not a bad grill...i'm sure there is better.

When camping, our fire pit was larger than what our grill would properly sit over, so we flipped it upside down so that the legs were facing upwards (but folded back down.) It held up fairly well but it did start to warp and change colour in the middle. We used it about 9 times maybe during our trip. Overall, it is not bad but in this case....you get what you pay for. If you want a long time grill, but a thicker one.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Can you cook directly on it? I would like to know if you can cook on it diretly? Is the metal toxic and dangerous?

    • A: Sorry, correction: it's listed as nickle plated steel. Not stainless. A lot of cutlery is nickle plated if that answers your question.
