Good stove - Ignition does not always work

It is a good looking upgrade to our previous coleman stove (15 years). We were excited that this one had a rotary builtin ignition. However, the ignition fails to work first thing in the morning when there is a dew in the air. So we still need to keep a lighter handy. Igniter works the rest of the day when air is dryer.

A: Hello, Paul. We appreciate you asking if the Coleman® Cascade 222 Camp Stove can be used with a larger 20-pound propane bottle, a hose, and a regulator. A 20 lb. propane tank is compatible with this stove. However, you'll need to use a Coleman® High-Pressure 5-ft Propane Gas Hose as an adaptor.

Please be advised, Coleman stoves are designed to work with high-pressure propane systems that are not supported by Recreational Vehicles. Connecting your stoves to your RV is not recommended due to the risk to your safety and the validity of its warranty.
