Look great, despite minor faults.

We bought two of these planters. Overall we really like them, though I do have a couple criticisms. First: The adjustable tabs to keep the planter steady tend to fall out easily. We ended up just removing them because they didn't stay in anyway. This isn't a huge drawback as the planter's centre of gravity, once planted, is lower than the railing and the weight is enough to keep it well in place. Though without the tabs it tends to lean slightly if one side is more watered than the other. On our covered balcony this happens to the "out facing side" after a decent rainfall. Second: From the centre "arch" where the railing goes to the lip of the planter is pretty shallow. This makes it a little awkward to plant anything in the center of the planter (unless starting from seed). Third: It'd be nice if the self-watering wells were deeper. Doesn't seem like they actually hold all that much water. Minor design faults aside, it looks great and they were the best price I've seen on this style of planter. I can't wait to see what it'll look like once my flowers are fully grown.
