Keeps out the elements
1.3" (3.5cm) all-steel frame with DuPont thermoset baked-on powder-coat finish that will not rust, peel, chip or corrode
100% waterproof, triple-layer ripstop fabric is UV treated inside and out and contains two windows
Sliding door with latch for quick entry and exit
Patent-pending ShelterLock stabilizers ensure stability and delivers a stable more durable shelter
Bolts to residence at six locations for stability
Ratchet Tite tensioning system for solid cover anchoring
Recommended for: front, back or side door entries or exits, restaurants or commercial businesses, breezeways or garage door exits.
We recommend using proper anchors, dependant on your sub-terrain, on each leg of the shelter for maximum stability.
Clear any accumulated snow/ice from the roof structure regularly with a soft-sided instrument. We recommend always removing snow/ice from outside the structure.

Une étoile c'est trop!

OMG! Moi qui suis plutôt manuelle et très compétente en assemblage, ça m'a pris une journée complète. Assembler un abris pour auto est moins long et plus simple. À un moment donné, pour arriver à aligner les trous, nous étions trois pour étirer la structure métallique en utilisant nos mains et nos pieds, un vrai show pour les voisins! J'ai dû défaire tout ça par la suite, car une fois debout l'abris était tout croche; j'ai conclu que deux poteaux étaient trop longs. Ces deux tuyaux verticaux forment le cadre de porte et sont trop longs de 5 pouces, les trous ne sont donc pas à la bonne hauteur et la seule façon de sécuriser la structure est de percer de nouveaux trous. Non, je n'ai pas fait d'erreur dans la sélection des éléments, j'ai vérifié deux fois avec l'aide d'une autre personne. De plus, j'ai dû utiliser mon Dremel pour agrandir les extrémités de deux tuyaux dont la dimension ne permettait pas l'assemblage. Les différents éléments ne sont pas bien identifiés dans les instructions. Je n'ai pas retourné ce produit parce qu'en pandémie, et hors saison, c'est le seul que j'ai trouvé.

Je pensait monter ca en 1 heure..... j'ai l'habitude de monter et démonter des abris de toutes grandeurs, mais la wow, une si petite abri prendre tellement de temps a monter, c'est incroyable. 1- Les instructions sont tellement compliqué a comprendre, les pieces inscrites ne sont pas les memes dans la boite, incapable de rentrer les poteaux du contour de porte parce que l'espace est pas assez grande pour la dimension du poteau dans la toile. 2- Il est supposé avoir 3 grandeurs de boulons, j'en ai juste 2 et pas la bonne quantité. 3- La structure est beaucoup plus solide qu'un abri régulier mais le tout est croche. (et ce n'est pas moi qui a mal assemblé). 4- La porte ferme mais avec un jour de 1 pouce, la toile de la porte n'est pas assez large pour couvrir la porte entière 5- Il y a des courroies a cliquet installée a l'extérieur, quand la neige va couvrir, bien hate de voir le résultat au printemps. Je ne recommande aucunement ce produit Mario

J'ai acheter cet article il y a quelques années passées, je l'ai utiliser pendant 5 ans comme vestibule d'une shed. Il est vrai que l'on doit secouer la neige accumulante, mais il en est de même pour tout abri temporaire. Je l'avais bien encrer et il n'y avais pas de problème, tenais bien en place.

Aside from bad instructions (look at my Q&A on manual for tips) this is a good item. It is strong, and spacious. There are some flaws; how to secure to wall without A) damaging wall B) put a hole in tarp C)if not bolted to wall how to keep snug to wall. But aside from that, you wont find anything like it out there. Assembled it is sturdy and can hold snow like a carport would. The slope is enough to prevent to much buildup. I only use for winter for patio door area to smoke and hold recycling bins. I fit my bins and my propane heater and a chair in there on each side. I leave door open unless I know it will snow sideways. Read my tips on Manual Q&A for easier assembly. If you want to fully enclose it you could use a tarp and mount it on the back panel before tightening the side/top cover.

POOR QUALITY CONTROL

I Bought one assembled it (takes about one hour due to poor instructions) then realized that the door was manufactured wrong, so I disassembled it and brought it back to the store for another one, the second one the door was ok, but on the front tarp where the two framing pipes goes in, the stitches where sewn too close together preventing the insertion of the pipes... so returned this one too and got my money back, I WILL NEVER BUY A SHELTER LOGIC PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!!!

Q: does this have to be bolted to the house or are there other ways of securing it so it doesn't fly away? I do not want to damage my new siding, especially since this shelter will only be used for the winter season.

A: I dont secure it at all really. To me the other way is by putting a sand bag on each side. I find that it does the trick. And once there is snow it starts to build up on the side outside and no way its moving...remember that, once installed it might not be moveable till spring.

A: See attached manual pics (cant upload pdf's). Read entire before starting. You have to assemble things in step one to disconnect them in next. Beware. Instructions are unclear. Part #'s do not match depending on year of construction. My setup does not even have items 800936/800938 But you can figure it out. Matching #'s:(801258=802738)(801463=802743) Assembly time: 4-5hrs (Dont wait till afternoon to start) Tools I use: Mallet, Socket Wrench (well worth it), step ladder, screw driver. I suggest assembling the front panel and the back panel first, and then connecting them with back panel up against the wall and the front panel, raised, and held up by hand as you use the step ladder to insert the top support beam. This will hold it together for the remaining connecting beams. Lay front tarp down facing down, assemble front frame on top of it, slide in the door support beams. Tighten tarp slightly before raising it. Then do the back. This way you wont have to assemble/disassemble when mounting connecting beams (those that connect front and back) TIPS: Replace the door rings with plastic shower curtain rings if they cause you grief. When sliding in door beams, tilt to side to enter sleeve so bolt doesnt catch. sleeve: <O so hold bolt -- Do not overtighten on assembly. You cannot secure unit to the wall using brackets without putting a hole in the tarp. I dont use any securing except a bag of sand on each side and as the snow builds up on the sides there is no way it gets away.

Q: is this shelter wind proof? I wish to use it on my balcony through the glass sliders to enjoy the ocean view during the winter weather.

A: This fabric doesn’t allow wind through. Our suggestion though is to make sure that this unit is securely secured to your deck and the cover secured snuggly.
