Outside temp sensor gives random results

Had a similar unit that lasted 3 years. Purchased a replacement and I have to echo other users' comments about the lack of quality control on the exterior sending unit.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Easy to set up. Good display of information and accurate. Particularly like the barometric indicator which my 20 year old model did not have. I've had it for just over a week, but am not anticipating any problems.

We have ours inside, when its in the sunlight, it reads over 30c, but its only 11c outside, how is that possible? Looks cool on the shelf though

Q: What is the range for the outdoor sensor to the indoor sensor through wood construction housing?

A: 330 feet/100 meters - any obstruction can reduce distance by approximately half (1 wall = 165 ft)

Q: Broken Bracket - can it be replaced?? I had to remove the remote weather sensor from the bracket outside to replace the battery. When trying to reinsert it, one end of the bracket broke so I can't reinsert it. Does this company sell the bracket as a part, separately.
