Q: Can we use this protection cover in GTA,Mississauga,Brampton area? Please reply only if your are sure about the law, see following review I was stopped and ticketed by the local police. After the incident I spoke to a few other law enforcement friends and they said that any form of license cover is being "frowned-upon" by the cops.
16 years agoA: from Ontario Highway Traffic Act: (2) Every number plate shall be kept free from dirt and obstruction and shall be affixed so that the entire number plate, including the numbers, is plainly visible at all times, and the view of the number plate shall not be obscured or obstructed by spare tires, bumper bars, any part of the vehicle, any attachments to the vehicle or the load carried. 1994, c. 27, s. 138 (7). ie: JUST DON'T USE the SMOKED or COLOURED ONES!

Q: Does this plate protector just cover the front of the plate or completely surround the plate front and back? Since Ontario plates are becoming notorious for peeling and bubbling it isn't enough to just cover the front of the plate; it needs to be sealed completely from the elements.
