awesome fishing shack

I've had this ice hut about 1 month and already have used it several times with no issues. Assembly took me about 3 hours by myself at a slow pace. Very pleased with the room and comfiness. Makes ices fishing in the wind and cold a breeze! The sled has plenty of room to fit all my equipment for the day and I have no problem pulling it on foot. I would say that the poles are a little on the light side but so far haven't been an issue. Only down fall I see is the access below the seats because of the way they are bolted in. This is easily rectified by using a locking pin rather than the bolt on type. Also, condesation does build up on the underside of the unit but again easily averted by lining with a reflective insulated lining. As with anything, with a little care and proper maintenace I can see this equipment as part of my fishing experience for many years to come!

best portable ice hut ever

once this hut is assembled, it works perfect. the seats are very comfy and is very durable. In -40 weather, I had this hut up to 30 degree's celsis with a propane heater. It sets up in about 30 seconds and is perfect for anyone looking for a portable ice hut.

Buyer Beware

We recently purchased this ice hut to make ice fishing more enjoyable. However putting it together was a nightmare. We first had to drill our own holes in one of the seat bars as it was not done. Secondly the nuts and bolts are of such poor quality that while trying to screw on some of the nuts you twist the head off of the screw. We had to replace many of these nuts and screws with better quality ones. Once together though it is exactly what we wanted. Just hope it holds together better than it went together.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: The Dimensions of the hut are: 83"l x 61"w x 61"h. Clam does offer an accessory hitch and travel cover that can be requested through your local Canadian Tire store. The store will need to place a special order for the accesories as these are not regularly carried.
