Terrible product... majority annual rye grass

I bought two bags while on sale, I loved this product in the past years with great results. But the product has new packaging and is mislabelled, it contains mostly annual rye grass (which grows faster than every other grass, higher, with broad blade and looks horrible) when there should be none. I dug up a portion of my lawn (removed all grass), placed new topsoil and black earth (mixed) and used only this seed. The only thing growing is annual rye grass which looks terrible. Do not use this product.

This is weed seed!

I bought this because of the positive reviews and the fact that it was on sale. Do not make the same mistake. You'll pay more than any savings in the time trying to rip out the weeds that have grown in the patches I was trying to fill and the water used.

All I got was clover

I could write a long and boring review but I will try to keep it short. I wanted to over seed and fill spots left bare from a harsh winter. I bought a big bag of fertilizer and this bag of seed. I spread fertilizer, waited 10 days then seeded half the bag of seed, 5 days after that the remaining seed was used. After 24 days I could not see any new growth at all. I called our local store to see what they would say. I was told that the temperatures were low for this season and there was nothing they could do. It stats on the bag best results between 10 to 25 degrees, it never went below 12 degrees during the day. So I contacted the Company that makes the seed. I sent pictures and explained what I did and the steps I took. They are going to issue a refund which I should receive in 3 weeks. All fine and good but now I have a lawn full of clover and weeds to deal with. So no I would not recommend anyone I know to buy this product.

A: Tout dépend de vos besoin. Est-ce pour pelouse neuve? Ou juste pour ''patcher''. Moi personnelement c'était pour une pelouse neuve. J'avais une surface de 4100p/2 a couvrir et j'ai épandu 6 kg de ce produit . Aujourd'hui, 3 mois plus tard, mon gazon a bien poussé mais je devrai remettre la meme quantité de cette semence car la pêlouse est pas assez fournit et elle est trop fragile au vers blanc. En résumé , pour avoir un gazon fournit, ca prend 12 kg de ce produit pour 4000p/2. Sur le sac ca va marquer que c'est bon pour couvrir 17000p/2 mais ca c'est seulement pour une pelouse déjà en place......
