Q: Canadians must be functionally illiterate because it CLEARLY SAYS "Make sure to check local laws before installing as regulations concerning license plate covers vary by province." I'm more interested in a review of the product, quality and installation
6 months agoA: The shield is polycarbonate so it will not break and has a UV treatment so it should not discolor. The frame itself is well made. You can install using your existing license plate hardware or Candian Tire has new hardware available if yours is rusted or stripped. Dealing with the old hardware is generally the only area that could give you any issues as the elements are not kind to the screws used by some car dealers. Installation should only take a screwdriver unless you go with anti-theft hardware in which case you will need the special wrench that comes with it.
