worked, but broke

I used these once and they worked fine. Months later I had a 2nd use for them and they broke. When trying to use on an outer ring, they would slip back to inner setting. Don't mind paying extra for quality, but if I am buying junk, I want to pay junk prices.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Junk. Removing the ends is a pain. They are not strong. And too expensive. Id rather spend 200 on a sent of variable sized snap ring pliers.

Not very strong, great for small snap rings but to say its good for medium snap rings is a bit of a stretch, they say 2" but all points snapped on a 44mm internal snap ring, Went out and bought a Heavy duty set to get the snap rings out from a different retailer as CDN tire did not have a heavier duty set in stock

I too bought cheaper sets thinking that they would do the job. This plier is an all in one, easy to use and removed a stubborn snap ring in under minute.
