I used this equipment for the first time thinking that I was in for a real challenge. I am female, 5’3”. I was intimidated to say the least. This ground auger was easy arms and hand placement. The pulley was easy and the throttle was gentle. I will admit for my size, I handled it and it was very gentle with me. I love my auger for making me a firsthand Champion!

Great for tough dig areas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great auger for getting holes dug for fence posts, tree burial, and so much more. We got it for our hobby farm in Arizona and the dirt here is tough, to say it lightly. It is always hard to dig and this auger makes our lives so much easier. It is pretty large and gets through the tough dry dirt really well.

Easy of use

We finally decided to buy one after renting one for years. It was of great help to install multiple posts for our fences. Works great, not so heavy, and easy to use. I like that it dissambles easily to transport it safely. 45 posts installed and looks like this will last us a long time. It doesn’t work well in very heavy clay soils.

  • A: Yes you can but remember that power remains the same. The one I bought goes down to 30 inches I believe with the standard bit. I'm guessing you are looking to go deep
