Champion’s parallel kit increases your power and saves space by connecting two 2000-watt inverter generators. The kit’s integrated design for two stacked inverters includes a 120V 30A locking outlet and a standard 30A RV outlet with enough power to start and run a 15,000 BTU RV air conditioner. Available at a Canadian Tire Store near you.

Works as stated! Pleased to be able to have the capability to have 2 gens or 1 together with this kit. The smaller ones don't have a 30amp plug, but with this, you can add it!

I have been pleased with the quiet, reliable, operation of my 73535i generator over the past few years but disappointed it would not run my table saw or pressure washer. My mother-in-law offered to buy us another 2000 watt generator and a parallel kit to make that happen. Canadian Tire sold her a 73500i parallel kit but one of the new paralink inverter generators that was not compatible. They returned her money for the generator and said older 735xxxi models were no longer available. I found an old used 73552i unit on Kijiji and bought it. I just hooked them up today, which was really easy, and instead of an overload warning, the table saw started right up. I confess I was doubtful that the two different models would cooperate but even the warning lights work. The green output light on the 73552i was blinking until I moved the circuit breaker to on to match the other unit.

Confusing parallel links

Got two 2000watts inverter Champion generators from Canadian tire and the only parallel link on their website saying for 2000watts Champion inverter generators. The parallel link is usually not in stock so waited for full week to get it but guess what? It is far from fitting the two generators. Called Champion and agent said they have 3 different parallel links for these generator but Canadian tire selling totally different on name of 2000watts inverter generator link! I have important event but can’t connect the two generators...highly confusing and frustrating.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: When plugging the parallel kit into each 2000w inverter generator does polarity matter? Is it possible to plug the leads in backwards? Thanks!

A: When plugging the parallel kit into each generator, polarity does not matter. It is important, however, that the ground wire must be attached to both units via the grounding bolt located on the front panel of the generators.

A: Yes, they can be paired with other model numbers of the same generator class. For example a 73536i can pair with a 73531i without issue.
