Works Well and Reasonable Price when On Sale

I bought this opener so I could monitor the car parked in the driveway and also be able to close the garage door remotely using the MyQ App, in the event I forgot to close the garage. It works well, but make sure you have a good wifi connection. The other thing to be aware of is that this keypad is good looking, but much 'chunkier' than a normal garage door opener keypad,
This model has a Lithium Ion battery which actually took about 10-12 hours to charge out of the box for it's initial charge and the green light to come on, so be patient.
The other thing which I would recommend, is that if you have access to an electrical receptacle, you buy the other model which has a plug in charger and also has a swivel mount which allows you to manually rotate the keypad to see more of the driveway, versus the fixed mount which comes with the battery model.
I also ended up buying the MyQ wifi kit (base and sensor) for the garage opener, since my garage opener was not wifi compatible. You will also need this kit if you want to control the door remotely and your garage door opener is not already wifi compatible.
However if you just want to use the it as a Keypad with video monitoring, it will open and close the door using the keypad and you can see the alerts on the MyQ App (but you won't be able to open/close the door remotely from the App)

I should have bought this earlier. Easy to set up and connect to my Garage Door opener. Connects great with my phone. Now we have added security. Battery has great life once installed. It has been over two weeks with a lot of activity and the battery is at 98%. Fantastic.

This keypad camera And remote opener works great for our garage. With that said, I really wish there was a hard wire power adapter available. My keypad loses power quickly especially in the winter months. I spend more time charging the battery than using it from December - February. Any options for a wired power adapter?

A: The myQ Video Keypad is compatible with both WIFI enabled Chamberlain or LiftMaster garage door openers and non-Chamberlain-produced garage door openers that use the myQ Smart Garage Control. Once the Video Keypad is successfully installed it will communicate with the myQ hub via myQ to open and close your garage door.
