A: I used this to replace a Chamberlain pad of similar vintage. It gets paired with the door opener. Should work if your motor has a pairing function. Clear instructions included.

A: Not sure about 2006 but it works for my craftsam opener curca 2009. Was a challenge to program. Had to verify programming by the circuit board rather than the brand. The same board is used in multiple brands.
