Very difficult to apply to dark vehicle

If you have a dark vehicle don’t bother, applying a regular ceramic coating is way easier to do. It wipes on easy, but to get it to buff without any streaks after the flash off period is an absolute pain, multiple microfibre cloths and keep switching them out for clean ones. Do not recomend.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A Little Goes A Long Way And Looks Great

This stuff is easy to apply and easy to remove - IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS And the shine it leaves behind is incredible. I do not expect the longevity of a prfessionally applied ceramic nano coating but man I am so happy with the result I got. I did 2 cars and a Harley this weekend - all are lustrous - the metal flake in the paint is gleaming and I used less than 20% of the bottle for the three vehicles. We'll see about longevity but I'm happy with this!

Q: Was wondering can the product be used on plastic? like a sea doo spark?

  • A: If you want to use it on plastic that isn't painted try the Silk Shine. Hydro Slick is more for painted surfaces, from my experience I love the Chemical Guys products

  • A: This product is not recommended for stainless exhaust tips. We recommend either Chemical Guys Light or Heavy Metal polish depending on amount of oxidization.

Q: How many applications would one expect form a single 473ml bottle? Compact car...VW GTI...

  • A: Great question ! One ounce is more than enough to do a compact car so 16 cars per bottle. We have customers that get more but depends on how many coats you apply (as it is layerable) and how often you want to reapply. It lasts up to a year but you can apply as frequently as you would like.
