Q: Does the rubberized side go against the tire or against the ground?
12 years agoA: According the manual the rubberized side goes against the ground and this is logic. The is no friction between metal and ground. The answer by canadian tire expert is wrong!

6 years agoA: Yes, these Wheel Chocks are suitable for all sizes of passenger car tires in temporary and light-duty jobs such as tire changeover.

Q: Will these last outside all winter for chocking the wheels on my boat trailer? (i.e. not rust)
10 years agoA: If the surface finished is not damaged/removed and the steel inside is not exposed, the product will not rust even in winter outside. But please be reminded that the capacity of 009-0069 is 2T/pair, please make sure the weight of the boat trailer doesn’t exceed the capacity.

Q: Why are these wheel chocks rated for use with 16" wheels instead of a maximum tire diameter? Tire diameter is what is important not the wheel size. Tires on 16" rims can have varying diameters resulting from differences in tire aspect ratio and tire width. A maximum tire diameter should be specified.
12 years agoA: This Product is applicable to all tires of suitable 16'' wheels. Most users are more familiar with rim size as opposed to the tire diameter, so the rating is measured in rim size.
