The brush part swivels when one tries to use it to brush snow (difficut to get the ring tight enough to prevent that, wearing gloves in the cold); better if it didn't have the telescoping feature, but there was no choice when I looked.

disappointing 'Meh' product

this is the second one of these snow brushes I've had. the first one by the end of the season wouldn't tighten(the spinning knob to tighten when you extend/shorten the handle)so any time you tried to brush snow off the car, the brush would spin so you couldn't actually brush snow off. thought it was just wearing out. unfortunately the second one did the same thing after just a handful of uses. no matter how tight you 'tighten' it, it just rotates the second it met the snow. this happens both at the shortest length up to the longest length. It wasn't even very heavy snow either. the option to extend my snow brush when needed was really appealing as I'm not very tall, but this definitely wasn't nearly as great as it sounded.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I found this to be useful especially because you could extend the handle. The only problem I found was in -20 to -25 temps it was difficult to tighten the knob the holds the extended arm to the length you want.
