Worst purchase. Go get an Agri fab instead.

Putting it together was major pain. The instructions are not accurate and parts in some cases don't align properly or holes are not drilled correctly. After a full day of putting it together it's performance was terrible it does not clear the path well and if it is set to the lowest it is very harsh on the lawn. Worst purchase ever.

sweeper not as good as expected

Finally got around to assembling the sweeper and give it a try. The adjustment lever nut and bolt and washers keep falling out as I am driving around. Not impressed because of this. I have tried to over tighten will see if that helps. I also found a different washer in the grass not sure where it fell out of, hopefully it was already there and not from my mower or sweeper

Brushes fell apart almost immediately and it is now basically a paperweight. Nothing I assembled fell apart just the brushes that come put together from factory.

hard to understand

The instruction were hard to understand and had to drill holes that did not line up. Thats ok. It does not pick up as i would have liked, probably 20% of the dry grass. In the front where I keep it shorter (1.5 in) it does not pick up anything. Does not pick up leaves. Very Disappointed!

Garbage

I purchased this last week and finally had time yesterday to assemble it. Well, let me tell you. The manual was confusing, as another review stated, parts identified in manual did not match what actually was required. The parts did not line up well AND the very last part I put together, the holes for the bolts were drilled at the factory too small, so I had to drill them out larger myself.
If it would fit in my trunk the way it is, and if it wasn't over 100kms to my closest CT store I would have taken it back yesterday.
I have yet to use it, but it may just end up going back if it all falls apart like another reviewer said theirs did.
I am SO not impressed for the amount I paid for this.

Q: How do you unload the contents?

A: To empty the hopper contents, simply pull on the rope which would be connected to the top frame of the hopper and the hopper tips forward, releasing the contents on the ground.

Q: does it pick up large pine cones and branches?

A: It depends on the size of the pine cones. Mowing over them to break them up into smaller pieces, then sending the sweeper over them would do a better job. The sweeper can pick up some small twigs, but not meant to pick up branches.

Q: Are the gears in this sweeper plastic or metal. And if they are metal, is that metal zinc alloy?

A: The gears on the sweeper are high density nylon reinforced gears. We do not use the METAL gears in this unit.
