belt was not the same specs as indicated on package... OEM part # .... I had to grind down the inside dia. from 9.75mm to 7.25mm to keep the belt from jumping off of the auger pulley.

Belt did not meet oem length. I installed the belt but as it was too tight, it kept the auger engaged no matter how loose the lever was. This would cause the belt to smoke.

Correct size but will not work on Troybilt or Club Cadet models due to cogged style v-belt

Given the belt is a cogged style, will not work on Troy-Bilt or Club Cat models that require the 1/2 x 37” auger belt size. Unfortunately this cogged belt has a belt depth of .351 which therefore rides too high on the pully(s) impacting the required free play for snowblower auger functionality. Using will just burn the belt immediately after installed - destroying the belt instantly. The correct V-belt depth should be .31 to work correctly. Get the Club Cadet branded belt (even though more money) as has the correct depth specs.

Too Small

This belt doesn't fit properly for my Troy-Bilt snowblower (31AH55R7563). After the auger belt broke, I went online and saw that this belt should have been a suitable replacement. It was a pretty tight fit, but I assumed it was fine. I notice that when the snowblower was on, the auger was trying to turn, even when the handle was not in use, which quickly led to a belt failure. I thought it was a fluke, triple checked the website for the part number and measurements, and bought another one of these. This newer one was worse, and the auger was spinning almost full blast with no load against it. Finally I decided it must be the belt and bought the club cadet belt from CT (060-4057-8), and that belt worked perfectly. It was much looser, and the snowblower now operates as expected. So YMMV with this particular belt, depending on the snowblower you are using it with

A: NO it is not suitable for an electric mower. The blade is considerably heavier than electric blades and with the addition of the de-thatching lines even more drag will be created.
