Bungees are one of those things that need to be replaced when they get old. This style seems to work well and hold up when left in the back of the truck for extended periods of time. The bright colour makes it easy to find in low-light situations, such as when you harvest a deer in the later afternoon and are trying to secure it in the truck bed well after sunset. The hooks fit all of the tie-downs on my Tacoma, something some other ones don't. The hooks are also ergonomically designed to be pulled with a gloved hand, and the folded plastic has no sharp edges to catch on clothing or skin. Don't forget to wear safety glasses *every* time you touch any bungee cord.
