Q: Lifespan of 8000 kms? So this filter is not appropriate for oil changes at 12000 km intervals ?
6 years agoA: Hi Stephen, the Certified Oil filter is manufactured to meet OEM specifications. Please reference your Owner's Manual for the correct interval change for your vehicle. It is not recommended to exceed this limit.

6 years agoA: Hi there, depending on the manufacturer's location, some of our Certified spin-on oil filters are made from an engineered fiber material, rather than metal end caps. However, in some cases we do have some with metal end caps. We test these filters at 20+ microns which provides an efficiency rate of up to 95% throughout the oil change cycle – meeting all OEM specifications.
