Good way to get a basic set of tools to start. Saw is kind of curious, but works well for small items such as trim. Including a magnetic storage bowl and screw retrieval wand is nice! But it's annoying that you have to use bits to get any Robertson screwdrivers, especially when there's no stubby holder and you only get a long-shank. And the first inch or so of the tape measure is unreadable with the rivets in the way. The box of assorted screws, plugs, nails, etc. is of questionable use though - will need to buy items that better fit the specific project, so why bother including it? And the spark plug tool doesn't need to be there either - this isn't a mechanics garage set. What is sorely missing is an awl. And it would be nice to include a pack of blades for the box cutter - there's room to store the pack I bought right underneath the cutter, as if it was meant to be there... As well, would prefer a couple of proper C-clamps than the spring ones that don't open far enough to be of use. Other possible early needs that could have been here would be a square, a nail punch set and a decent carpenter's pencil and sharpener.
