A little narrow, but they work

They're sturdy enough to protect the underside of your vehicle from getting scratched or damaged by steel jackstands. You won't have to worry about creating spots for rust. The only downside is that they are a little narrow compared to some jackstands so it might be possible for them to shift side to side on the stand. I haven't seen it happen, but it is still a bit of a concern. I suggest measuring your stands before buying.

Phenomenal pads. Fit the 3-ton DeWalt stands I picked up perfectly! They were non-slip & held my vehicle perfectly at the pinch weld along the rocker. Absolutely a must buy item.

Q: The area that fits over the jack stand saddle: is the pad's underside rounded or flat?

Q: What is the width of the slot? My stands are 1 1/2 inches thick. Also, how long are they? My overall length is 3 1/2.

  • A: About 1.1" x 2.4". It sounds like your stands would require a wider pad.

Q: Do these distort and are cut-damaged when the pinch weld has settled into them? And do they settle against the upper rocker panel area?

  • A: They sell a rubber block that prevents this. They will bend the pinch weld if not used.

Q: How deep is the groove? I need about 1 1/4" clearance for the weld seam for a dodge caravan.

  • A: They fit snug into the top of most jack stands. There is also a other style that is made for the circle style pads on a floor jack. I bought a set of each to use while lifting my Audi Q5 and they work great!
